| Who polices the police? |
Lance Parker is a driven man. He possesses a black badge
that he claims gives him an absolute authority to act as
judge, jury and if necessary, executioner of corrupt cops.
He’s brutal, brilliant and willing to do whatever it takes to
get the job done. Detective Devin Lamonte is trying her
best to lead a normal life as a rising star in the police force
of the city of Sandpoint. However, Lance’s arrival in town
quickly brings her normal life crashing down as she finds
herself swept up into his questionable investigation that
he runs with questionable tactics. As she works side by
side with Lance, a gang kingpin known as Token
Washington, and a disgraced cop, Devin begins an
investigation of her own. She starts looking into just who
Lance Parker is and who it is that gives the Black Badges
the authority to do what they do. But the answers don’t
come easy and she’s left to wonder who this man that she’
s assisting really is. Is he truly an authorized agent
working for a legitimate group? Or is he something much
more sinister?

(spoiler alert:the initials stand for Aaron Charles)
resides in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He
spends his days as a reporter for a local newspaper
and his nights as a writer of fiction. He loves hanging
out with his three nephews and the rest of his family
and one of his proudest accomplishments is
co-founding Hall Brothers Entertainment with his big
